Introducing www.dianedube.com as a new find in petite plus
size clothing! Diane says,
"Short ladies with curves can now
celebrate with style in combinations of dresses, pants and blouses that fit
their unique stature and shape. "Wow" is the word when you put on a blouse
that buttons or have a perfectly placed waist and shoulder seams on your
shoulders. These are not big droopy sacks or multi sized elastic tents, they are
clothes that are the perfect form for you from Diane Dubé - the
house of petitie plus clothing! Petite plus women will now stand out in
the crowd of well dressed ladies in properly proportioned fashions suited to
their shape."
Thank you, Diane, for giving us a place
to call home, and shop for clothes that actually FIT! For a few samples of
her line, go to my Career,
Casual and Special Occasions page. Or visit her website at www.dianedube.com.

There's
also a website... http://www.plussizeauction.com/ ... which I
haven't thoroughly checked out, but have heard it's like eBay for plus size
clothes, etc. They're just getting started, so there's not a lot out there
yet. It could be just the place for you to sell the things you don't wear
anymore and have a targeted audience!
On a personal
note, my good friend Cindy makes the most fabulous jewelry (especially
for plus size women) and sells pieces on etsy. Cindy started her
jewelry business after she visited a quaint homemade jewelry store and
tried on their bracelets - and they didn't comfortably fit her wrist!
Since she loves jewelry, she decided to try her hand at making and selling
her own creations, and rest assured they are custom sized and will fit
YOU! Check out her etsy page here. By the
way, I've seen some of her items in person and the photos do not do the pieces
justice. Also if you have some old jewelry, vintage pieces or
family heirlooms lying around that could use a makeover, contact Cindy and
see what she could do with them to give them a whole new life!
I've got my hands full working on a great new website for you, loaded with lots
of tips and special deals!
And if any of you are on
Facebook, I'd like to give a shout out to some new peeps I've 'friended'
who will also have good fashion ideas for the full figured gal:
curvymarket.com, plus size style (I think they're based in Australia), Plus
Size 411, Curvy Fashionista and Full Figured
Magazine.
